Martina Taylor is a textile artist who works primarily with quilting, embroidery, and weaving. Her work was recently exhibited at the Fireland Association of Visual Art’s 20th Biennial Artist as Quiltmaker exhibition (OH) and Threading the Needle at the CF Webber Gallery (FL). Martina has received scholarships from various craft schools, including Penland School of Craft and Arrowmont. She is excited to return to Hungary after receiving a grant from the Oberlin Center for Russian, Eastern European, and Central Asian Studies (OCREECAS) to research Hungarian folk embroidery in Budapest last January.
